• Housing Support Project

  In the case of installing renewable energy sources such as solar power, solar power, geothermal power, small wind power, and fuel cells in a house, the government subsidizes part of the installation cost

• Rental business

  Projects for the dissemination and fostering of private-led businesses in which rental business operators are responsible for the establishment, operation, and management of government subsidies and consumers' initial investment expenses.
  
  

  

01. Housing Support Project

A project supported by local governments and the government (Korea Energy Corporation) as a system to reduce electricity bills by installing solar power in houses Subject to support: owner of a detached house
Amount of support: 50% of total government support (3kW basis, 2022 basis)

Savings (3kW solar)
-Reduce monthly electricity bills by about 70,000 won and collect self-payment within 3 to 4 years
-An economic profit of about 10 million won is generated when using the solar life for 20 years

02. Building Support Project

A project in which the government provides part of the installation cost for the purpose of reducing the energy consumption cost of buildings and supplying renewable energy by replacing the energy supply of general buildings with renewable energy
Subject to support: Energy-related buildings such as shopping malls, livestock houses, welfare facilities, hospitals, factories, etc
Amount of support: 700,000 won (per kW), 1.32 million won (per kW) for livestock (up to 50 kW, as of 2019)

Savings (50 kW)
- General electricity customers save about 500,000 won per month

03. Convergence support project

A project to supply new and renewable energy by simultaneously injecting two or more types of energy sources, such as solar power, wind power, and solar power, through the district complex of multi-purpose buildings in the region
Subject to support: Local governments or public institutions, enterprises that manufacture and install renewable energy facilities, and the private sector can jointly form a consortium and apply
Scope of support: 50% of the total project cost and national government support (30% of local government support, 20% of self-esteem)

04. Rental business

It is maintained during the contract period in the form of monthly rent payment without initial installation charges (temporary payment is possible), and facility ownership can be transferred to the consumer after the contract period
Subject to support: owner of a detached house
Payment method: Monthly payment, lump sum payment (7 years basic agreement, 8 years extension contract available)

Savings (A third kw)
-The monthly electricity bill will be reduced by more than 70,000 won, and the difference in electricity bill will generate economic benefits even if the rental fee is paid
-Facility ownership can be transferred to the consumer after the contract period (the basic agreement can be extended by 7 years and 8 years)
